Explosion in Delhi High Court

New Delhi, May 25: It seems that the fear of Indian government has been proved true as an explosion occurred near Delhi High Court on Wednesday, May 25.

After the terror attack in Karachi's military base, Indian government had beefed up the security of several places, especially the main cities of the country.

Sources informed that the explosion took place in a car which was parked near Gate No 5 of the Delhi High Court. However, the intensity of the explosion was minor. The cause of the explosion still remain unknown.

Five fire brigades have rushed the place soon after the blast. No casualties have been reported yet. The explosion near the protected High Court area raises question about the security of people in the capital and in the country.

Defence Minister, AK Antony, earlier had claimed, "The development in Pakistan, particularly in Karachi, is a matter of serious concern. We are closely monitoring the situation 24X7 in Pakistan."

"We are taking precautions. We are always taking precautions. We have to be on vigil. Many terrorists are waiting across the border to infiltrate into Indian territory. Our armed forces are always ready to prevent that," asserted the Defence Minister.
