தமிழீழ விடுதலைப் புலிகள் மற்றும் பாலஸ்தீன ஹமாஸ் அமைப்பு ஆகிய இரண்டு அமைப்புகளையும் தடை பட்டியலில் இருந்து நீக்கவும். அவர்கள் மேல் சுமத்தப்பட்ட பயங்கரவாதிகள் என்ற முத்திரையை விலக்கிக் கொள்ளவும், முதல் தடவையாக ஐரோப்பிய ஒன்றியம் முன் வந்துள்ளது என அறியவருகிறது. கடந்த 2 மாதங்களுக்கு முன்னர், ஐரோப்பிய நீதிமன்றின் மூத்த நீதிபதிகளில் ஒருவர் இது தொடர்பான அறிக்கை ஒன்றை ஐரோப்பிய ஒன்றியத்திற்கு சமர்பித்தார்.
இதனை அடுத்து தடை நீக்கம் தொடர்பாக இலங்கை மற்றும் இஸ்ரேலுக்கு ஏதாவது ஆட்சேபனை உள்ளதா என்றும். அப்படி இருப்பின் அதனை எழுத்து மூலம் அறிவிக்க முடியும் என்றும் ஐரோப்பிய ஒன்றியம் கேட்டிருந்தது.
இன் நிலையில் ஹமாஸ் அமைப்பை தடைப் பட்டியலில் இருந்து நீக்க, இஸ்ரேல் கடும் எதிர்ப்பு தெரிவித்து இருந்தது. அதேபோல ரணில் விக்கிரமசிங்கவின் அரசும் தமிழீழ விடுதலைப் புலிகளின் தடையை எடுக்க கூடாது என்று அழுத்தம் கொடுத்தது.
இருப்பினும் இந்திய அரசு( மோடி) இது தொடர்பாக எந்த அழுத்தத்தையும் பிரயோகிக்கவில்லை. இதனை அடுத்து இலங்கை மற்றும் இஸ்ரேல் ஆகிய இரு நாடுகளின் எதிர்ப்பு இருந்தாலும் கூட , தாம் தடைப் பட்டியலில் இருந்து இவ்விரு அமைப்புகளின் பெயர்களை நிக்கவுள்ளதாக அறிவித்துள்ளது ஐரோப்பிய ஒன்றியம். இது தொடர்பான சுட்டறிக்கை விரைவில் வெளியாகவுள்ள நிலையில். இந்த முடிவுக்கு பிரித்தானியா கட்டுப்படவேண்டும் என்று , பிரித்தானிய தமிழர்கள் அழுத்தம் கொடுத்தால். பிரித்தானியாவும் புலிகள் மீதுள்ள தடையை விலக்கும் வாய்ப்பு கிட்டியுள்ளது.
மாவீரர் தினம் நெருங்கி வரும் நிலையில். பிரித்தானியாவில் இம் முறை மாவீரர் தினம் எக்ஸ்ஸெல் மண்டபத்திற்கு அருகில் உள்ள ஒலிம்பிக் பார்கில் நடைபெற உள்ளது என்று உத்தியோகபூர்வமாக அறிவிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. எனவே புலிகள் மீதான தடை நீங்கி, இனியாவது ஐரோப்பிய நாடுகளில் தமிழர்கள் தமது அரசியல் காய் நகர்வுகளை மேற்கொள்ள இந்த தடை உத்தரவு ஒரு தடையாக இருக்காது என்று கருதலாம். மேலும் சில அறிவிலிகள், தமிழீழ தேசிய கொடியை புலிக் கொடி என்று கூறி. அதனை கொண்டு வரவேண்டாம் என்று அடம்பிடித்து வருகிறார்கள். அவர்கள் இதனை வைத்து பெரும் அரசியல் செய்து வருவதும் யாவரும் அறிந்த விடையம். இன் நிலையில் அவர்கள் வாயடைத்துப் போய் உள்ளார்கள். புலிகளின் தடை நீங்கினால். கொடியின் தடையும் நீங்கிவிடும். இனி உத்தியோக பூர்வமக நாம் எமது தேசிய கொடியை பாவிக்கலாம். அன் நாள் மிக விரைவில் வருகிறது.
Now is clear that, The European Union has been mulling removing Hamas and the LTTE (Tamil Tigers) from its “terror list” as its top court took a step toward confirming the removal of Hamas, as well as the Tamil Tigers, from an EU terrorism blacklist despite protestations from Israel and the Sri Lankan government
An advocate general at the European Court of Justice, whose advice is usually followed by judges, recommended that they reject an appeal by the Council of EU member states against the lower EU court’s decisions in late 2014 to remove both movements for freedom and human rights from the sanctions list due to flaw procedures.
The EU Council’s appeal also cited the lower court’s failure to accept its argument that the groups’ presence on the US
In both cases, judges of the EU’s General Court ruled that EU leaders relied too heavily on media reports rather than their own investigations when they imposed asset freezes and travel bans dating back 15 years on members of Hamas and the LTTE. Both organisations argued that they were engaged in legal wars against Israel
The Sri Lankan government had said, that it would provide the evidence which the court found lacking to support sanctions against the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE).
LTTE – a terrorist organization or defender of Tamils?
Any reaction to state crimes, violence or attacks is called terrorism while all terror operations by the states are glorified as heroism. LTTE as an umbrella organization was formed as a shield to protect from “enemy” attacks the lives and interests of Tamils living in Sri Lanka
Lately, Tamils were attacked by Singhalese mobs with state backing, leaving conflict in Lankan society. State suppression methods were harsh which led to the demand by Tamils for separate Tamil state in the island. The Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE) is the only terrorist group which once possessed its own ‘Military’ – Tigers (infantry), Sea Tigers (sea wing) and Air Tigers (Air Wing), in the world, began its armed campaign in Sri Lanka for a separate Tamil homeland in 1983.
Founded in May 1976 by Velupillai Prabhakaran, it waged a secessionist nationalist insurgency to create an independent state of Tamil Eelam in the north and east of Sri Lanka
